Arrows Of Light

This morning is a trust ceremony
It's okay to not be sure
The outside loud is SO loud, sometimes

The pain will tell you hope is naive
You will feel it like a brick in the center of your stomach
Equal parts horror, equal parts guilt that you are safe when others suffer

Beneath, there is a wordless sentence,
returning you to before what you remember

Arrows of light
A song returning
A circle unbroken

There is a love that hunts us ceaselessly
This is a trust ceremony
